As a Fulbright-Award winning Psychologist, Sex Therapist, & Buddhist meditation teacher, I bring decades of experience to helping couples do the deep, real work that creates lasting change. I'm a member of SSTAR - The Society for Sex Therapy and Research. The techniques I bring you are science based and they have been tested on thousands of couples.

Couples Coaching Sessions with Dr. Cheryl
I have always refused to take couples for online coaching - my private practice has a long wait list of people who can meet me in person - so I've never seen the point in adding online couples. Until now. This Platinum offer is the one exception I've made. Why? Simply because I want to assist couples to create significant changes - to help them cultivate a level of depth, of love and passion, of relationship excellence - that is sadly all too rare.
And what I saw transpire in Maui encouraged me to take a few couples on a journey. This package is my "dream solution" to the problem - How can we create Love and Passion that Last a Lifetime?
Together in our sessions we will explore the unique issues you have as a couple. These may include:
- Communication and conflict resolution styles
- Sexual issues - from no sex to affair recovery to sexual performance issues to desire differences and more
- Attachment styles and childhood patterns...that hijack your adult self
- and more
Coaching Process:
- These sessions will focus on the deeper relationship work. What are your strengths as couple? What are your unique challenges, issues and blocks? How does your relationship history - together, and from previous relationships, play out between you?
- Sessions will be conducted online (or, if you prefer, in person on Vancouver Island)
- First, the Assessment phase. We will schedule an initial session with both of you as a couple.Then I'll have a session with each of you separately.
- Next the Treatment and Coaching phase. Most of these session will be with both of you as a couple.
- Sessions will be spaced according to the needs of each couple
Detailed Couples Assessment and Feedback
All great achievements start with a plan. Part of the couples immersion process - and the most important way to help set you up to create lasting positive change in your relationship - is to thoroughly assess where you are at right now, and where you want to end up.
Assessment Process:
- As soon as you enroll in the Platinum Immersion, I will send you each a link to a battery of psychological tests for couples
- These will assess your current levels of relationship satisfaction, your communication strengths and weaknesses, your Intimacy, Thrill, and Sensuality scores, your personal psychological functioning, your commitment to your relationship, and more
- These tests are completely confidential, HIPA (Health Information Protection Act) compliant, and not available to the general public (they are only available to shrinks like me!)
- During our first four assessment and goal-setting coaching sessions we will go over the results of your testing and use the data to help us set your goals and outcomes

The Become Passion online course for couples is an 8-weeek workshop focusing on the Passion Triangle - Intimacy, Thrill, and Sensuality.
In the coaching sessions we will work on your unique issues. In the Become Passion course, you will learn much more about what makes great couples great. I've designed this course to teach over 8 hours of content - essentially, it is a weekend course on the Passion Triangle in easily accessible form.

Meditation and Mindfulness for Couples
If there was ONE skill I could teach every couple in the world, it would be meditation. It turns out great love, and great sex, are all in your head.
Mindfulness practice has a huge positive impact on romantic relationships. Research indicates that mindfulness is associated with higher relationship satisfaction, better conflict resolution, and the ability to see your partner's point of view.
And Mindfulness has been shown to increase sexual desire, arousal, satisfaction and recovery from sexual dysfunction (lack of orgasm, erection difficulties, premature ejaculation).
As a very experience Buddhist meditation teacher (I've done multiple 3 and 4 month silent retreats, studied in India, Tibet, and North America, taught at major Mindfulness conferences and centers, and I am the meditation teacher for Island Dharma here at home, where I teach silent retreats and classes) - I can be your guide to Mindfulness for Couples.

Frequently Asked Questions
Coaching sessions can begin as early as the week of November 18th. Don't worry - I am flexible and we can start at a time that works for the two of you. We will work out a schedule that works for you, your needs, and goals - some couples benefit from sessions every week to start, then we move to bi-weekly or even monthly. My goal is to serve you the best way possible.
Note- you have 9 months to use up your ten sessions.
If you want more sessions, first of all I suggest you use the pay in full option - this gives you 2 bonus sessions. If, at the end of our 10 or 12 sessions we agree it would be beneficial to continue working together, I will offer a 5-pack of sessions for a special reduced hourly rate.
